The Neighborhood House, a non-profit grief center, offers an eight-week support group for children, teens, families and individuals who are grieving the loss of a family member due to suicide or overdose.
The support group is free.
Applications are being accepted now for the next eight-week session. Groups meet on Tuesday evenings in Sayville or Wednesday evenings in Riverhead. Click here to schedule a registration appointment.
Volunteers supply meals for the meetings. The Neighborhood House is looking for people in the Riverhead area to volunteer as members of the “Dinner Brigade” and supply a meal for one of the upcoming evening meetings. To volunteer call 631-589-0055.
