Peconic Bay Medical Center will host a blood drive Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Training Room 2 on the lower level of the Entenmann Campus on West Second Street in Riverhead.

Donors must bring ID with signature or photo, must weigh at least 110 lbs. and must not have received any tattoos in the past 12 months. Ages 16 to 75 can donate; 16 year-olds need parental permission and those 76 and over need a doctor’s note. Prior to donating, eating a low-fat meal and drinking plenty of fluids are encouraged.

Shuttle services will be available for employees. All donors will receive a coupon for a free McDonald’s large sandwich or salad with a purchase.
