Suffolk County Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver in a fatal hit and run crash in Riverside last week.

A person driving a dark gray Jeep Cherokee struck a pedestrian on Flanders Road, near Old Quogue Road, on Thursday, Jan. 13 at approximately 6:30 p.m., police said.

The driver fled the scene, police said. The pedestrian, David Humberto-Amaya, 33, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle may have front-end damage, police said. They provided a picture of a similar vehicle.
