Riverhead Police are seeking information about a second commercial burglary that occurred overnight, this one at a deli in Calverton.
Patrol officers responded to a a report of a commercial burglary at Wine Country Deli on Middle Country Road in Calverton this morning shortly after 6 a.m. Officers determined that someone had entered the establishment and removed an undetermined amount of cash. The Riverhead Police Detective Division is investigating.
Police are also investigating a commercial burglary at a Route 58 restaurant that occurred overnight. See separate story.
Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to contact the Riverhead Town Police at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
