The first of two free concerts presented by Riverhead Chamber of Commerce in Grangebel Park takes place this evening.
Playback will perform 1980s new wave music in the park from 5 to 9 p.m.
The second concert is scheduled for Monday afternoon, Oct. 12.
The free family-friendly events will also feature food and artisan vendors, the Chamber of Commerce said.
