Registration for the Riverhead Police Athletic League football, flag football and cheerleader programs opens on March 6.
In-person registration will be held on Monday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Riverhead Senior Center on Shade Tree Lane in Riverhead. Registration for the football teams may be submitted via the Riverhead Recreation website.
The football team will accept children aged seven to 13 and the flag football team will be open to students ages 5 or 5 — ages are considered as of Sept. 1, 2023. Applications for the football teams must be submitted by March 17.
Applicants for the cheerleading team is open to students in second through sixth grade as of September 2023. Registration will only be in-person on a first come, first served basis until March 15. Bathing suits are required for uniform fitting during registration.
