Two Flanders residents were arrested on Nov. 17 after police raided their home and found crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and digital scales, according to Southampton Town Police.

Police arrested Melissa Ann Kust, 42, and Monica Morvillo, 23, after a raid on their Cypress Avenue residence in Flanders, according to a police press release. Kust is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police. Morvillo is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Police said they executed a search warrant on the home in response to “community complaints regarding frequent drug activity at the residence.” The search warrant was executed by the Suffolk County District Attorney Office’s East End Drug Task Force and the Southampton Town Police Department Emergency Services Unit at 6:01 a.m..
