Railroad Avenue between Griffing and Osborn avenues will be closed to traffic for paving Monday beginning at 7 a.m.

Riverhead Highway Superintendent Mike Zaleski said all businesses, including Suffolk County Transit buses,  can use the municipal parking lot, which is accessible from Cedar Avenue.

The road will likely be closed until 4 p.m., Zaleski said.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation,” he said.
