The Riverhead Lions Club and RSVP will host a pickleball tournament fundraiser at Box Pickleball on Thursday, July 17.
The event features singles and doubles matches, with a variety of skill levels represented to ensure fair and exciting gameplay. It also includes a buffet. A cash bar will be available.
The tournament winner will receive a prize for their outstanding performance
There will be raffles and door prizes to support the Riverhead Lions Club.
The proceeds from the tournament will benefit both the Riverhead Lions Club and RSVP Inc., an animal welfare & rescue group dedicated to helping Long Island pets in need. Their goal is to stop pet abuse, neglect, and overpopulation in our communities. The Riverhead Lions Club’s vital work supports local needs and global causes. Activities encompass a wide range of initiatives, including sight conservation, hearing and speech services, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, and disaster relief.
Tournament participants must check in at 6 p.m.. The first game will commence at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the tournament is $75 per for participants, $45 for cheerleaders. Participants can register online until July 10. Buy tickets online at Ticket Tailor or in cash at the door.
