Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing overnight in the local area for the first time this fall, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a freeze warning for our area from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Temperatures between 30º and 32º are expected overnight tonight in southeast New York and portions of Southern Connecticut, according to the forecast.

Expect chilly weather for Veterans Day, with a high only near 45º, with wind chill values between 20º and 30º early tomorrow.
