The Railroad Museum of Long Island held its annual Holiday Open House in Riverhead this weekend, with free admission and a chance for kids of all ages to visit with Santa, enjoy the train displays and take a ride on the 1964 World’s Fair train.

The Railroad Museum of Long Island — and Santa — will do it all over again in Greenport next weekend: Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14 from 10:30 to 2 p.m. The Greenport museum is located at 440 Fourth St. Free admission.
