Riverhead Town’s 2026 inauguration ceremony for newly elected officials will take place on Jan. 1 at 1 p.m., in the meeting room at Riverhead Town Hall.

Newly elected town officials who take office or start a new term of office on January 1 are: Jerry Halpin, town supervisor; Ken Rothwell and Bob Kern, council members; Mike Zaleski, highway superintendent; and Laverne Tennenberg, assessor.
