Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead supermarket earlier this month.
Police said the man stole assorted meat products valued at approximately $380 from Stop & Shop, located at 1615 Old Country Road, at about 3:46 p.m. on March 1.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play), or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
