Phyllis M. Holt of Calverton died June 16, 2026, at PBMC. She was 76 years old.

Born Nov. 1, 1949, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of William and Anna (Sklerofsky) Kuperman. She graduated from the High School of Art & Design in 1967 and later attended Staten Island Community College, graduating in 1975.

She worked as a registered nurse, including at Riverhead Middle School and Little Flower in Wading River. She was known as “Nursie.” She was affiliated with the Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre and volunteered with NJROTC in the Riverhead Central School District. A cat lover, she enjoyed musical theater, Broadway shows and medieval Renaissance fairs.

Predeceased by her brother Michael, she is survived by her sons, Brian of Manorville and Jeremy of Maryland (Ashley); her daughter, Anna Ramshaw of Texas; and her grandchildren, Eli, Charley, Cassie, Suzanna and Jacques.

Interment will take place Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. at Wellwood Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
