A public comment period has opened on the development of the most significant amendment to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Atlantic Striped Bass in nearly 20 years.

Rep. Lee Zeldin called on New York members on the fisheries management commission to step down if they can't fight more aggressively for New York's fishermen, who “year after year continue to get screwed.”
