Riverhead Police have issued a warning to residents and businesses about people who have been passing or attempting to pass counterfeit bills at Riverhead stores.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man they say passed counterfeit bills at a Calverton gas station last month.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say used counterfeit $100 bills last month.
