The operator of a motorcycle was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital this evening following a collision with a Hummer on Main Road in Jamesport.

The operator of the bike was ejected and went through the windshield of the sedan, according to an emergency worker. Both the biker and the driver of the car sustained head injuries and were transported by Suffolk County Police helicopters to Stony Brook.

A man operating a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was seriously injured in a crash on Rt. 25 in Calverton Tuesday night at about 9:20 p.m. according to Riverhead Police.

A Riverhead man was killed in a motorcycle crash after he struck a pothole on Reeves Avenue and lost control of his bike.
