Two people were airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle-car collision on Mill Road in Manorville this afternoon.
The operator of the bike was ejected and went through the windshield of the sedan, according to an emergency worker. Both the biker and the driver of the car sustained serious head injuries. Two passengers in the vehicle refused medical treatment.
The road was closed while police investigated the scene of the crash, which occurred near the intersection of Mill Road and Dry Saw Mill Road (Brightwoods) located three miles west of Edwards Avenue.
No further information was immediately available from Suffolk County Police.
