Nurses and other healthcare workers at Peconic Bay Medical Center have "overwhelmingly" supported the tentative agreement reached last week between the union and the Riverhead hospital, union local President Chris Honor said this morning.

The New York State Nurses Association has reached a tentative contract agreement with Peconic Bay Medical Center/Northwell Health, the union announced in a press release this afternoon.

Nurses and healthcare workers at Peconic Bay Medical Center have voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike, seeking wages and benefits on par with those paid at other Long Island hospitals.
