L.I. Cares mobile food pantry to distribute food at Riverhead library Thursday

The Long Island Cares mobile Food Pantry will distribute a free three-day supply of food to residents in need at Riverhead Free Library Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. No ID is required.

The Riverhead library, operating on last year's adopted budget, will be closed on Sundays from October to April due to financial constraints.

Riverhead Free Library will host an 80s-style murder mystery dinner Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 and the show will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
