Early voting for New York State primary elections begins on Saturday. Local Democrats will decide their candidates for the House of Representatives and Riverhead Town Justice

The two candidates in the Democratic Party primary election for Riverhead Town Justice in June are both registered Conservatives: William Condon, the party designee, and Sean Walter, the incumbent judge who is challenging the party’s pick in a primary.

Former town supervisor Sean Walter of Wading River has been selected as the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party candidate. He will face Democrat Joseph DiBenedetto, a retired Pace University professor.
