From corrections to college: the Riverhead-based Sound Justice Initiative fights incarceration with education
Inmates at Suffolk County Correctional Facilities are studying philosophy and other liberal arts subjects in an innovative program offered by the Sound Justice Initiative in collaboration with the Suffolk County Sheriff's office.The goal of the program is to reduce recidivism through education.
