PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on August 28, 2014 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York, not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:
7:00 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 14-39, TO REOPEN the appeal of Nasri Munfakh, 856 Sound Shore Road, Riverhead, New York, for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 108, Section 108-10.1, requesting permission to construct a single family residence having a side yard width of 10 feet and 15 feet, respectively, instead of the required 25 feet each, having a combined side yard width of 25 feet instead of the required 55 feet, and Section 108-9, requesting permission to install a swimming pool having a distance from the side yard property line of 15 feet instead of the required 20 feet.
7:00 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 14-46, the appeal of William Talmage, 2 Beach Way, Calverton, New York, for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 12, Section 12-14, requesting permission to demolish and reconstruct a pre-existing non conforming structure (single family residence) in the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area , not specifically allowed, and Chapter 108, Section 108-10.1of the Code of the Town of Riverhead, requesting permission to reconstruct a single family residence having a front yard depth of 32.1 feet instead of the required 50 feet, having side yard widths of 17 feet and 5.2 feet, respectively, instead of the required 25 feet each side, having a combined side yard width of 22.2 feet instead of the required 55 feet, and Section 108-9A requesting permission to construct a deck having a distance of 8 feet from the side yard property line instead of the required 20 feet.
7:00 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 14-47, the appeal of Patrick Miceli, 47 Hill Street East, Wading River, New York, for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 108, Section 108-19 of the Code of the Town of Riverhead, requesting permission to construct an addition and a wood deck attached to a single family residence having side yard widths of 18 feet and 21 feet, respectively, instead of the required 30 feet each side and a combined a side yard width of 39 feet instead of 65 feet.
7:00 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 14-48, the appeal of Tina Newman, 96 Pine Avenue, Aquebogue, New York, for a variance to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 52, Section 52-6 M (4) of the Code of the Town of Riverhead, requesting a review by this Board of the denial for an additional electrical service meter by the Town Building Inspector.
7:00 p.m., prevailing time, Appeal No. 14-49, the appeal of John Shields 23 Pine Avenue, Aquebogue, New York, for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 108, Section 108-14.1 of the Code of the Town of Riverhead, requesting permission to reconstruct a single family residence having a front yard depth of 29.08 feet instead of the required 50 feet, having a rear yard depth of 54.75 feet instead of the required 60 feet, having a side yard width of 16.83 feet instead of the required 25 feet, having a side yard width abutting a side street of 20 feet instead of the required 50 feet, and Section 108-13.A (1)(c) requesting permission to construct a detached garage having a distance from both side and rear property lines of 5 feet instead of the required 20 feet.
Any person desiring to be heard on the above mentioned appeals should appear at the specified time and place.
