The Riverhead community turned out in force for Riverhead Rotary’s Annual Pancake Breakfast this morning at Polish Hall. The Rotary club served up hundreds of breakfasts — three kinds of pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and fruit.

Shelly of DE Entertainment thrilled the kids with balloon animals and face-painting.

The Riverhead High School NJROTC was there from start to finish, setting and clearing tables and assisting Rotarians with serving duties.

Rotary Man and Rotary Woman greeted guests as they arrived at the front door of the catering hall.

“This is an important fundraiser for the Riverhead Rotary Club, which supports a host of local charities in addition to funding scholarships for graduating high school seniors and contributing to Rotary International’s efforts around the globe,” Riverhead Rotary president Tom Lennon said. “We’re very grateful for the amazing support we get from the community year after year,” he said.
