Pulaski Street came out on top in Friday night’s Crazy Sports Night competition.

Teams of teachers and administrators took to the gym floor to raise money for the district’s PTOs in the PTO Executive Council’s Fifth Annual Crazy Sports Night.

The popular event drew a sellout crowd again, as students and parents packed the high school gym to watch faculty and staff compete in zany take-offs of field day-type events.

The night raised $4600, which will be split evenly between the seven participating schools’ PTOs. There was also a 50/50 raffle, which raised nearly $700 — enough to cover the basic production costs of the event.

Pulaski Street came out on top with 30 points. Riverhead High School, last year’s champion, placed second with 22, followed by Phillips Avenue (19), Riley Avenue (19), Riverhead Middle School (16), Aquebogue (13), the district office (13) and Roanoke Avenue (10).
