The Wading River Historical Society’s annual Holiday Tea has become a popular local holiday tradition, where, by historical custom, guests bring their own teacups to add to the festive spirit of the event.
This year the society’s annual Holiday Tea and Antiques Appraisal will be on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Wading River Congregational Church auditorium on North Country Road in Wading River by the ponds.
The program will include musical entertainment by Shoreham-Wading River High School students, antiques appraisals by Lloyd’s Antiques and Appraisals, raffles, door prizes, and a delicious dessert tea.
Tickets are $15 per person, payable at the door. This includes one appraisal.
