Southampton Town Youth Bureau plans ski, snowboard trip to Ski Butternut, Feb 4

If your New Year’s resolution was to get out and be more active, this Southampton Town Youth Bureau day trip might be just the ticket – lift ticket that is!

The Youth Bureau is organizing a ski and snowboard trip to Ski Butternut in Great Barrington, Massachusetts on Saturday, February 4, 2017 for youth 12 years old and up or younger with an adult. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities – from beginners to expert – are welcome to join the group. Options to rent equipment and take lessons are available.

Pre-registrations for the trip must be submitted by Friday, January 20, 2017 and participation is available on a first come, first serve basis. A fee of $90 includes lift ticket and transportation.

Prices to rent equipment or take a lesson are as follows:
$30 Ski Rental
$30 Snowboard Rental
$10 Helmet Rental
$25 Group Lesson
$20 Snow Tubing/3 Hours
$40 Snow Tubing/All Day
$125 Lift Ticket/Transportation/Rental/1st Timer Lesson (Restricted to Beginner Slope)

The bus will leave from Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays at 5 a.m. and return to Red Creek Park at approximately 10 p.m. Chaperones will be provided by the Youth Bureau.

Meals are not included in the price of the trip. Attendees should bring cash for food or bring a packed lunch.
