Three people were arrested on drug charges in an East End Drug Task Force raid on a Raynor Avenue, Riverhead house Tuesday, police said in a press release late last night.
The task force executed a search warrant at 534 Raynor Avenue and arrested three residents.
Sheryl Madr, 33, and Robert Bradley, 44, were both charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony. Madr was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Michael T. Young, 33, was charged with criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony and a criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The search warrant was the result of ongoing investigations of drug sales in Riverhead, the drug task force said in a press release.
Madr and Young were arrested on assault and robbery charges stemming from an incident at the same home in January. Two other people were also charged in that incident.
The Riverhead Town Police Department and Suffolk County Police Emergency Services coordinated the search warrant, according to the press release.
Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. By law, a person charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
