Two people are facing multiple drug possession charges after a raid at an apartment in John Wesley Village Friday morning, Riverhead Town police said in a press release Friday night.

An East End Drug Task Force investigation followed numerous community complaints about foot traffic in the area of the defendant's home, according to a police press release.

Carlos Reyes-Redrovan was one of 29 people arrested last year after a months-long narcotics investigation by the East End Drug Task Force and five other county, state, city and federal agencies into multiple drug-dealing operations that spanned NYC to Montauk.

A modest house on Brown Street in Riverside doubled as a round-the-clock open air drug market, the Suffolk DA said Thursday, announcing the indictment of 10 suspects in a cocaine trafficking ring.

More than five kilos of cocaine, three kilos of crystal meth, plus 2,313 fentanyl tablets, large quantities of fentanyl, xylazine and ecstasy, seven firearms, over $170,000 in cash, 39 gold coins and $287,000 in bank accounts, in what DA called ‘massive takedown.’ Details here.

A fentanyl overdose death upstate in June 2023 led to a long-term investigation by the East End Drug Task Force and the arrest of eight people during early morning raids in Riverhead and Greenport last Thursday, Suffolk D.A. Ray Tierney said.

Two men have been charged with selling cocaine inside an East Main Street restaurant, and the restaurant manager was charged with criminal nuisance, after a six-month narcotics investigation prompted by community complaints of illegal drug activity at the restaurant, police said.

Five people since the beginning of October have been arrested on drug related charges stemming from alleged narcotics sales in the area of Peconic Crossing on West Main Street, according to Riverhead Police. 

A Riverhead man was sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted of felony and misdemeanor drug charges stemming from the execution of a search warrant at his apartment in December 2021, Suffolk's district attorney said today. 

A Riverhead man suspected of being a drug dealer was arrested on numerous drug-related charges during a raid at his home Friday morning led by the East End Drug Task Force, Riverhead Town Police said in a press release.
