Riverhead Town highway crews will be paving Sound Avenue this morning between Twomey and Osborn avenues in Riverhead.

Traffic will be detoured for the safety of highway workers, Riverhead Town Highway Superintendent George Woodson said.

“Of course we will let buses and local business traffic go through,” Woodson said.

Work is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. Woodson said it should be finished by noon.
