Old Steeple Community Church will be holding a fair trade market on October 21 and 28 from 1 to 6 p.m.
The mission of a Fair Trade market is to sell items made by people in developing countries at equitable prices that improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.
Organizers of the market encourage community members to start their holiday shopping early at the fair. The sale will include jewelry, handbags, clothing, baskets, and many more items. The products are all hand-made by crafters from many countries and are special and unique. All of the proceeds from the sale will go towards helping orphans in Africa by supplying them with food, education, clothing, medicine and more.
