Clear skies are forecast for the Lions Club parade and the town’s holiday bonfire today. Both were rescheduled for this afternoon because of yesterday’s inclement weather.

The parade will step off at 3 p.m. at the corner of Osborn Avenue and West Main Street, continue east on Main Street to McDermott Avenue where it will head south to the Peconic Riverfront.

The community is invited to enjoy free hot cocoa and caroling around a blazing bonfire on the riverfront beginning at 4 p.m.

Santa will visit with children in his gingerbread house on the riverfront.
