The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an expected two to three inches of snow in eastern Suffolk County beginning this this afternoon and continuing through late tonight.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving as road conditions will be slippery, especially during the evening commute, the weather service said in the advisory.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. today until 1 a.m. tomorrow.
