It’s “Kids’ Week” at the Suffolk County Historical Society from April 4 to 7 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
All museum signage will be temporarily re-interpreted for school-age children. There will be a touch-table and educational play stations for hands-on experiences.
Enjoy “The Historical Play Room” for playtime the old-fashioned way. Dress in colonial garb, play at historic role-playing, old-world games, toys, and crafts. Pretend you’re living life in the past.
Children can take part in the museum scavenger hunt with prizes.
Free admission for children and $5 adult. Cookies and juice will be served.
