Riverhead Town Police have charged a man with criminal trespass following an investigation into larcenies from vehicles in the Wading River area this month.
Police said the Riverhead Police COPE division arrested Patrick A. Fontaine on charges of criminal trespass in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Fontaine is the primary suspect in larcenies from vehicles in Wading River this month.
Police reported someone rummaging through four vehicles on Herod Point Road, Berry Lane and Maple Road in Wading River Jan 13 and larcenies from three vehicles on Maple Road and North Wading River Road in Wading River that day.
