Two people were charged with selling alcohol to minors in an underage drinker enforcement operation conducted by State Police yesterday in Riverhead Town.
Ludevicko Thermitus, 22, a cashier at Speedway Gas, 1879 Old Country Road and Blanca N. Lopez-Lopez, 29, a cashier at Empire Mini Mart, 640 Old Country Road, Riverhead were charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the First Degree and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage, N.Y. State Police said in a press release.
Both retail establishments were cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to an undercover State Police operative under the age of 21, police said.
Also checked and found to be in compliance , police said were:

7-Eleven, 1733 Old Country Road;
Wine Depot, 1698 Old Country Road;
Mobil Gas, 1575 Old Country Road;
Citgo Gas, 1050 Old Country Road;
Roanoke Plaza Liquors, 1096 Old Country Road;
7-Eleven, 1050 Old Country Road;
Speedway Gas, 870 Old Country Road;
Peconic Wine & Liquors, Old Country Road.
