The owners of Cucina 25 are opening a second restaurant on Main Street.
Their new venture is Craft’d, a 49-seat restaurant featuring craft cocktails and craft beer, along with appetizers, small plates, sandwiches and salads will open this spring in the former Vines and Hops location.
Business partners Sean Kenna and Robert Manolio are totally revamping the interior of the space, Kenna said in an interview last week.

It’s going to be modern and sleek and “much more illuminated,” Kenna said. There will be a long booth against one wall and some high-top seating, he said. They are moving the bar to the front of the space and also putting in a full kitchen, Kenna said.
Craft’d will be open for lunch and dinner, he said. Their concept is still in development but they’re thinking it will be a place for a “quick in and out” for lunch, a busy happy hour, dinner as well as an “after theater nightspot,” Kenna said. The restaurant is located opposite the Suffolk Theater on East Main Street.
“It’s all about building an atmosphere,” Kenna said. “If you build an atmosphere and people enjoy it, they’ll come.”
The new establishment will also offer catering and private parties, he said.
Their town building permits and health department permits are in place and construction is getting underway, Kenna said. A liquor license application is pending.
Craft’d is already interviewing for employees. Kenna said he hopes to be open in June.
