James G. McCloskey of Riverhead died May 11, 2019. He was 80 years old.
Born in Queens on Dec. 22, 1938 he was the son of James and Alice (McPherson McCloskey.
He was a New York City firefighter with Engine No. 316 in Queens.
He us survived by his wife Elaine (nee Kessler).

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, 406 East Main St.,
Riverhead.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, May 17 at 9:30 a.m. at
St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Riverhead.
A private cremation will follow.
