Throngs of people flocked to downtown Riverhead Wednesday night for the season debut of Alive on 25 and a spectacular fireworks display on the Peconic Riverfront.

Visitors packed Main Street for live music, local craft beers and wines, street vendors, food trucks and specials at Main Street restaurants.

People lined the riverfront and the streets surrounding Grangebel Park where Bay Fireworks put on a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display.
