Day Haven Adult Services in Riverhead will host the “Aging in Place – Resources in Caring for a Loved One at Home” seminar Thursday, Sept. 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Adele Horbatiuk, Julie Jenne and Lori Maldavir, will offer a panel discussion on home-based caregiving. The topics will include how to keep loved ones at home as long as possible, how to get paid for caring for a family member or friend, paying for community-based long term care, information about social model adult day care, and the differences between home care and companion care.
