Students from Riverhead High School visited Philips Avenue Elementary School students to share their final class book projects.

The high schools from the advanced Spanish class wrote and illustrated fables to share with elementary students in bilingual and ENL classes.

One of the high school students said “just talking to the kids. They seemed so excited to have us there, and it was pretty humbling.” Another said their favorite part of the day was “making the little kids smile and making their day better by just reading a little book that I made!”
