Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are asking the public’s help to identify and locate two women they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead store last month.

Police released a surveillance camera image of the two suspects in the Sept. 2 theft of an assortment of household items from Target at 1150 Old Country Road. The merchandise was valued at approximately $945, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, or via the P3 Tips mobile app, or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.

Editor’s note: A criminal charge is an accusation. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
