Butterfly Effect Project celebrates Women’s History Month with their fundraiser the March calendar raffle that are now available. They are $10 each and you have 31 chances to win throughout the month of March. They announce the winners via social media channels along with history facts. The Riverhead High School Class of 1973 will be holding their 50th class reunion on Saturday, August 19 at the Flanders Men’s Club from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Save the date! The Riverhead High School Blue Masques proudly presents The Long Island School Premiere “The Prom.” Mark your calendar for a date to attend and support the students of Riverhead High School on Thursday, March 23, Friday, March 24 or Saturday, March 25 at 7 pm and there is Sunday March 26, a matinee at 2 pm at the Charles Cardona auditorium, 700 Harrison Avenue in Riverhead. $15 general admission and $5 for Riverhead students with ID. The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting their annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 31 from 7 pm to 10 pm at Southampton Youth Services, 1370A Majors Path in Southampton. Sign up and warm up drills will be held from 6 pm to 6:45 pm. The tournament is opened to grades 5 through 12 and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in middle and high school brackets. Space is limited and team pre-registration of $30 is required by Monday, March 27. Each team member must submit a completed registration form along with payment$10 each player to Southampton Youth Bureau located at 655 Flanders Rd, Flanders. February is National Bird Feeding Month so be sure to take care of our wildlife feathered friends. Fill your bird seeders and be sure to set aside some drinking water too. Enjoy the variety of birds blue jays, cardinals, oriole’s, sparrows, chickadees and the woodpeckers too.
