Peconic Bay Boulevard will be closed this morning for drainage repairs between Sun Up Trail and Lagoon Court, Riverhead Highway Superintendent Mike Zaleski said.
Local traffic only will be allowed along the three-quarter mile stretch of Peconic Bay Boulevard while work is underway, Zaleski said. Motorists should choose an alternate route to avoid delays, he said.
The repair work should be completed by noon, according to the highway superintendent.
