Sephora, the personal care and beauty products retailer, plans to open at Riverhead Centre.
The French multinational retailer will occupy a storefront that has been vacant for a while, on the western corner of the plaza where Famous Footwear and Best Buy are located, at 1440 Old Country Road, Suite 610. The store was previously the location of the women’s apparel retailer Lane Bryant.
Sephora carries hundreds of internationally recognized brands of beauty and personal care products.
Sephora is privately owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, headquartered in Neuilly, France. It operates more than 2,700 stores in 25 countries worldwide, according to the company website.
Signs announcing that Sephora is “coming soon” are posted in the windows of the store and the company has posted job listings on Indeed and LinkedIn.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
A company spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
