Norma J. McCook of Riverhead died on Dec. 19, 2023. She was 76 years old.
Born in Greenport on July 5, 1946, to parents Norman McCook and Stella Golonka, she was raised in Southold. She spent her career in retail, working at Pergament’s in Riverhead.
Her family remembers her fondness for Riverhead Raceway and her enjoyment of arts and crafts, particularly crocheting and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always there for everyone and put others first.
She was predeceased by her sister, Joy Flurry, she is survived by her daughter, Antonia Marsh (Thomas), siblings Donna (Billy) Graham, William McCook, David (Sandra) McCook, and Robbie (Mary) McCook. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She was a proud grandmother of two.
A private cremation service will be held. McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
