Winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph are in the forecast today and overnight tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind advisory is in effect for the East End from 7 a.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Thursday.
Periods of rain today and tonight may be accompanied by a thunderstorm this evening, according to the weather forecast.
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the weather service said in the advisory.
