On Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m., join the Heart of Riverhead Civic Association at Riverhead Library as we get ready for the North Fork Pride Parade with colorful crafts and conversation.

What’s the meaning of the Rainbow Flag? What does it mean to you? And what is pride? Share stories, get creative, have fun and prepare to celebrate as we make ribbons to pass out, posters to hold up and wands to wave at the North Fork Pride Parade in Greenport on June 22.

This is a free event, but space and craft supplies are limited, so please make a reservation by calling (631) 727-3228 or online at RiverheadLibrary.org.

The Heart of Riverhead Civic Association presents monthly community building events at the Riverhead Free Library, in the interest of informing, engaging and working to bring our community together. At heart, we are devoted to Riverhead, but the more any of us can do to create harmony throughout the East End and beyond, the better.

What: Pride without Prejudice; Crafts and Conversation.

Where: Riverhead Free Library 300 Court Street, Riverhead
