The Railroad Museum of Long Island celebrated railroading history this weekend with its annual railroad festival, which took place at its Riverhead museum Saturday and Sunday.
Kids of all ages enjoyed model train displays, rides on the 1964 World’s Fair LIRR Pavilion train, a LIRR simulator, tours of historic LIRR cars, toy train races and a display of working machines from the L.I. Antique Power Association.
