On Wednesday, August 28, members of the Riverhead Town Police Department Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE) Division, with cooperation from the Riverhead Community Awareness Program (CAP), conducted New York State Liquor Authority compliance checks at 24 retail vendors throughout the Town of Riverhead, the police department said in a press release on Thursday.
The compliance check targeted the sale of alcohol products to patrons under the age of 21, according to the release.
The following vendors were checked and found to be in compliance:

5: Wine Mart, 757 Old Country Road, Riverhead
6: Sabor Deli Latino, 192 Old Country Road, Riverhead
7: Sound Avenue Liquors, 5085 Sound Avenue, Riverhead
8: Tobacco King and Beer Cave, 1451 Main Road, Jamesport
9: North Fork Liquor, 1527 Main Road, Jamesport
10: MG Deli of Riverhead, 999 East Main Street, Riverhead
11: FA Grocery, 733 East Main Street, Riverhead
12: Pueblo Latino Deli, 719 East Main Street, Riverhead
13: Riverhead Stationary, East Main Street, Riverhead
14: Village Delicatessen, 318 East Main Street, Riverhead
15: Frontera Deli & Grocery, 55 West Main Street, Riverhead
